I’d like an author to come to my school. How do I arrange this?

Your local Independent Usborne Partner in the UK or Europe can easily arrange an author visit on your behalf. They can advise you on the authors that are currently available for school visits, the workshops/events that they can do for your pupils, and the cost of these events (most authors’ fees are in line with the fees outlined by The Society of Authors). They will also book the event on your behalf, organise pre-orders of books for the author to sign should pupils want them, and attend the event to support you from start to finish.

If you don’t have a particular author in mind, your Independent Usborne Partner will be happy to tell you more about Usborne’s authors, the books they have written, and the Key Stages that their events would be suitable for.
