How much does it cost to book a Usborne school event?

Usborne events are free! An Independent Usborne Partner can plan, host and organise your school event for you free of charge, as well as dealing with post-event admin. We know how important your time is, and we’re proud to offer a hassle-free service leaving you to do what you do best – teach!

Best of all, your school can earn up to 60% of the value of the event in free Usborne books. Events include book fairs, storytimes, sponsored reads and sponsored listens.

Many Usborne authors also visit schools - these events are subject to a fee to cover the cost of the author's time. Author events include workshops, assemblies and Q&As. Many schools use a book fair or sponsored read to cover the costs of an author visit (they can do this by working with an Independent Usborne Partner). Learn more about author visits here.
