Can I recycle an Usborne sound book?

Our battery-operated books, including sound books, LED/light-up books and musical books, all allow you to replace the batteries when they run out, meaning that they can be re-used over time, and passed between family and friends when children have outgrown them.

There are instructions on the books explaining how to replace the batteries.

All batteries should be disposed of correctly so that they don’t end up in landfill or cause harm to the environment or people. You can find out more about recycling batteries, and electrical and electronic equipment from your local authority.
